New Online Training Center Website? Don't Forget About SEO!
At the beginning of 2023, we created a new website for Centrum Szkoleń Verte – a dynamically developing training company – at The Lion. Centrum Verte offers both stationary training and the currently prevailing online training. The center is characterized by a high level of implemented projects and an individual approach to participants. Online training courses include training for the public finance sector, companies and public entities wishing to increase their knowledge of labor law, human resources and payroll. By cooperating with Centrum Szkoleń Verte, we were tasked with achieving specific goals:
refresh the graphic design of the website and adapt it to new business needs,
conduct a UX/UI audit and optimization,
implement an SEO audit prepared by an external SEO agency,
improve site performance and Web Vitals metrics.
Implemented solutions on the Verte Center website
At first, we focused on improving the UX/UI of our client's website. We did this by expanding the site menu. We planned a new navigation structure using a multi-level menu that makes it easier to navigate the expanded site. We also implemented a new, more intuitive and customer-friendly categorization of training courses and a modified training card - we moved information about training dates and prices to the top of the page and created an additional message with a form for inquiring about archived training courses. We combined thematically different types of content on the site and took into account the requirements from the SEO audit received when mocking up the new project. Additionally, we expanded the blog on the site with new functionalities, e.g. most frequently read, highlighted entry, promoted entries, implementation of the Schema.org standard for blog entries.
Then we designed a new graphic design . Later we started programming work – we implemented a dedicated graphic design and integrated it with the WordPress CMS. The next step was to optimize the website for Web Vitals indicators, including the implementation of Lazy Load for images – this is dynamic loading of images “on demand” while overseas chinese in europe data browsing the website, so that when it is opened, all media do not have to load simultaneously. As part of the optimization, we converted graphic files to the new WebP technology format and converted font files from static format to the new woff2 technology format. We also limited resources blocking the rendering of the page, which translates into a reduction in the number of queries to the server by merging files and minifying JavaScript code. The last point that we implemented was the migration of content from the old page to the new one, while maintaining the link structure and all current SEO settings in order to secure the position of the website in search results when updating the entire page.
As a result, we got a completely new look of the site improved by UX/UI standards with much better performance. See what we learned during the process of creating a new website for Centrum Szkoleń Verte and how you can use it on your website:
How to Keep Users on Your Site? Combine Content Within Your Site!
Extending the time users spend on a company website is very important in the context of acquiring potential customers. The same applies to reducing the bounce rate on a website. In order to increase both indicators in the case of educational companies and training centers, a good way is to combine different types of thematic content on the website. For example, the Centrum Verte website contains a lot of information - from popular online courses, trainers, to the course of training, their prices or training materials used. It will be helpful for the user to collect different messages and combine them within the service. On the Centrum Verte website, you can see such a solution, for example, on the blog, where each entry is promoted with trainings related to the topic of the entry or the author of the publication. When browsing specific entries on the blog, the user can immediately familiarize themselves with the thematically related online trainings. Each time, they have the option of moving to a different subpage within the website.
Free Online Webinars – An Effective Way to Generate Leads in Your Training Center
Running free webinars is a great way to build a database of potential customers. Traditional in-person training is not always able to interest a larger group of recipients due to the specific location. On the other hand, conducting online training in the form of short webinars (without charging an online fee) guarantees greater demand for these events. Free knowledge sharing can also take the form of a series of blog articles, but it is when signing up for a free webinar that the educational company is provided with basic personal data. Thanks to this, the training center has access to a group of potential customers who may be interested in a more comprehensive offer.
