Post by PrisilaED »

This is a service that is received in the same inbox as SMS but allows multimedia messages including audio, images and videos.
Short Code. Refers to the sender of an SMS message. It is called a "short code" when it has between 3 and 6 digits. These numbers indicate that the provider or company is using an A2P service and not SIMS or normal phones b2b email list to send their messages.

Long Code. Sometimes referred to as a "long code" route, SMS message senders are 10 digits or longer. This indicates that the messages are being sent via SIMS or regular phones or via grey routes from abroad.

Sender. The sender of a message or call is the number or name that calls. A short sender is one with 6 digits or less, a long sender is one with 10 digits, and a masked sender is one that displays letters or letters combined with numbers instead of a number.
