At Salesflare, we primarily help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) who are looking for a better CRM to track their leads.
Our business volume is relatively small and most people don’t understand that there is a “best CRM” – they think all CRMs are essentially the same and that they are all as easy and automated as they can be (spoiler: they aren’t. This means that we sell primarily to more knowledgeable SMBs who do their research online before purchasing a new CRM system.
Inevitably, this means we need to focus on getting reviews. Preferably good reviews.
Most businesses think they will get reviews if they send out a marketing email asking for reviews and offering an incentive. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that. People are constantly being asked to leave reviews and they simply don’t do it.
The two secrets are:
Obviously, great product, great service and nigeria cell phone number list happy customers. Without that, it's hard to get good reviews.
Personally ask people to check in when expressing appreciation and/or gratitude, preferably during a live conversation, video or chat.
And, if you want to take things really seriously, you can set a goal per team member to get a certain number of reviews per month. This way, you can make sure that everyone on the team is learning the necessary reflexes.
These two or three secrets explain why Salesflare is currently competing successfully on review sites, for example being ranked #2 easiest CRM to use on G2.com among 800+ CRMs worldwide.
4. Write SEO articles that showcase your product in action through Ahrefs
Nowadays, most products require some level of education on how to use them. And people educate themselves on most topics by googling (or searching for a tutorial on YouTube, a discussion on Reddit, ...).
If this is the case for your product, you can take advantage of this opportunity by writing a tutorial or how-to guide that covers the topic.
You can write lots of how-to guides, but if none of them feature your product, they won't really generate leads for your business.
That’s why you should use the strategy invented by the guys at Ahrefs – and not accidentally by some of the best SEO experts:
Make a list of all the use cases for your product. These can be very broad use cases or very simple use cases. (Generally, simpler use cases tend to convert better.)
