If you sell something on eBay for $1000, how much money do you get?

So, based on this formula, let's calculate how much money you'll get if you sell $1000 (118,000 yen) on eBay.
We'll assume $1 = 118 yen.

①PayPal transaction fee
for foreign currency 3.9% $3.9
②eBay payment fee
Final value fee 10% $100
PayPal balance $896.1
③Exchange fee
for home currency 4% 101,259 yen
The above figure shows all the fees that will be charged cyprus mobile phone numbers database when receiving $1,000. Add $3.9 from PayPal and $100 from eBay to get $103.9, and your PayPal balance will be $896.1, which is 101,259 yen in Japanese yen. The final fee rate is about 14% . Actual commercial transactions incur expenses such as shipping costs and EMS insurance.

In other words, what I'm trying to say is that if you do business in foreign currency, it's no problem if you can secure profits even if a fee of about 15% to 20% is charged. However, the above formula is for the case where the payment is made and withdrawn on the same day, but in reality, the funds are frozen from your PayPal account for about 21 days after the payment is received and cannot be withdrawn.

So, even if the exchange fee is 118 yen when you make a sale, it may be 115 yen when you withdraw it, so it is possible that it will end up being around 110 yen in the end.So, to reiterate, it would be difficult to sell overseas unless you can ensure a profit even if a 15% to 20% fee is charged.
