My Evernote Exit Strategy

Post by Mitu100@ »

The second article was about the price increase and the new features. Here I finally saw the new price for my contract. There is no question of weekly prices of $10. Furthermore, the statement that this was the first price increase in seven years was - at least for me - correct. Seven years is a long time and Evernote has developed a lot in that time. The new features sound interesting and helpful - and it is clear that AI is being incorporated into

And the third article puts honduras telegram screening the news that Evernote is laying off almost all of its employees into perspective, at least for me. Because: Evernote is moving the company to Europe . Europe is of course closer to me than the USA , so I don't think that's such a bad thing.

My contract renewal is not due until November 2023. Until then, I still have some time to follow the further development. If necessary, if I don't like it, I can always cancel Evernote in November 2024.

If I do switch, not one app will replace Evernote, but I will split my workflow between different apps. For the web clipping part, I will either use the paid version of Pocket (an established and proven tool that I have been using for free for years) or possibly also use Cubox (which is rather unknown but also has a few nice features, but on the other hand I don't like the memo editor). I have already purchased software for full-text searches of my PDFs, but unfortunately it is only available for Mac and iOS: PDFsearch. For pure notes, I would then use UpNote. This is available for a bargain one-off payment of under 30 euros (or 99 cents per month) and in a test, even the import of Evernote ENEX files with PDFs worked very well. If you want to know more about these tools, then take a look at my blog post on Evernote alternatives
