Among the many highlights, one speech caused a usa rcs data stir in the crowded Creatiff podium: Yuhki Yamashita, Chief Product Officer at Figma, spoke about how design and creative processes are changing and how we need to change with them.
Design can no longer be thought of as a linear process. The theoretical process from problem to solution has never corresponded less to reality than it does today. Yamashita says that solutions have always been found by chance, often before the problem has been precisely defined. So why not start finding a solution right away and allow for a certain amount of uncertainty? The technology for this already exists - thanks to open source platforms, anyone can work on the same idea from anywhere at any time.
