This question gives and will give much to talk about and in fact we could write pages and pages talking about it, but as I am one of those who thinks that if good things are short, they are twice as good, I am going to answer in a very summarized way.

For me, social networks are nothing more than the evolution of traditional ways of human communication, which have advanced with the use of new channels and tools, and which are based on co-creation, collective knowledge and generalized trust.
