The website is known to be the digital showcase of every company. But how do you create a good and lasting impression on visitors? How can you reduce bounce rates, increase user-friendliness and increase sales?
The answer to these questions is often not entirely clear; there is no "one size fits all" solution. The website must therefore be adapted to the wishes and needs of the respective target group. One tool for this is Google Optimize.
What is Google Optimize?
With Optimize, Google has given website operators a tool to help them identify which website components are most popular with visitors. The idea behind it: Two or more versions of a website are displayed at the same time and can be tested against each other. For example, you can experiment with different design or text elements to find out which variant has the highest conversion probability. The link with Google Analytics provides the data basis for optimization with various statistical tests. But now cayman islands phone numbers Google has announced the end of Optimize and the paid version Optimize 360 on September 30, 2023.
Why is Google Optimize being discontinued?
Google justifies this step with the investment in new and more robust A/B testing options, with the integration of third-party solutions in Google Analytics 4. However, it is currently questionable whether this solution will be available by the end of Optimize.
What now? Are there alternatives?
Companies now have to pay particular attention to three points:
1. If Optimize is already in use, collected data should be exported no later than the official “sunset” in September .
2. Migration from Universal Analytics to Analytics 4 – this should now have a higher priority, regardless of any A/B testing
