Pros of Memberpress
Since it is WordPress , the most used CMS, you will have a huge community to rely on for various problems;
it allows you to have a wide customization , thanks to additional plugins and using programming codes, for those who know them;
checkout is perfectly under control and totally customizable ;
you have access to all the individual data of each user, which you can use to create ad hoc campaigns, for example with ActiveCampaign;
ease and efficiency in SEO management , thanks to WordPress .
Cons of Memberpress
since it's WordPress , you tend to solve every problem with a plugin, but if you overdo it there's the risk of the site collapsing;
first we saw that it is customizable, true, but natively it does not present the possibility of making the User Experience excellent;
Native statistics in analytics reporting are not always complete for every type of project, so in Marketers we have installed an additional plugin UserInsights .

The thing you should pay most attention to when choosing a plan is the % of transaction fees that the platform retains: up to 10% for the free plan!

So, as Elio told us in the MW22 workshop , maybe you initially think you can save money by choosing the free plan (which however has a 10% commission withholding ) or by choosing the basic plan ( with 5% withholding ), then maybe the launch goes particularly well for you and at that point you will upgrade to the pro plan with 0 commissions , when by then it is too late.
