In response to the question "Would you like to try opening a cross-border e-commerce store?" of people (n=335) who have opened an e-commerce store in Japan but have not yet done so across borders, 55.6% answered "I would like to try" or "I would somewhat like to try," suggesting that more than half are willing to take a positive approach to opening a cross-border e-commerce store. " The reasons for this reluctance appear to be concerns such as not being able to communicate because one does not understand the language of each country, being unable to trust the payment system, being worried about delivery, and not having enough support when problems arise.
