Greenwashing is dead! Long live ethical communication!

Post by simarahman5835 »

Ecology has been a key area for many years. The ecological awareness of the population is increasing. Consumers are demanding action, want to know where their purchases come from . We no longer simply want to consume. We want to do so consciously. And many companies have understood this. Some in a very commendable way, because protecting biodiversity really matters. Then there are the others. Those who deliver major greenwashing blows.

Ah greenwashing! Who has never heard this term? It is as present as ecology in recent years. It must be said that this practice can be attractive. Not changing anything about the way your company operates while communicating about the good actions taken for the planet . You will use a little ointment, right?

This is not a way to communicate ethically. For me, it's quite belgium whatsapp the opposite. But it's not always easy to understand this practice. So let's take stock together (and it might make you cringe) and look for solutions to fight against greenwashing. The opening rate of my emails
I don't write a newsletter so that it sits in an inbox without ever being read. This is probably the most important data for me. I want to maintain a high opening rate . When this is not the case, I question the relevance of my content and, above all, I do a bigger sorting in my database.

The click rate
I don't always include a link in my newsletters ( I know, it goes against content marketing advice ) but when I do, I look at how many people clicked on my link. This lets me know if I introduced my topic well or if it was relevant or not.We come to the last communication channel. And be careful, it is not the least important, on the contrary! It is undoubtedly the one that requires the most observation time. To analyze the statistics of my content strategy on my site, I use Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
