Don’t take the first tool you find

Post by Mitu100@ »

What moment of happiness can you expect?
The wonderful feeling of having saved time and energy.

2. Don’t take the first tool
…that is recommended to you by a friend, in a group or in a forum.

I see this often in Facebook groups: "I need a newsletter tool, which one can you recommend?"

Then it’s cheerfully germany telegram screening thrown out:

" I love Get Response"
"I get along well with MailerLite!"
"I have been using Klicktipp for years"
"I think ActiveCampaign is great!"

… and – which one do you choose now?

Even!

Hardly anyone asks you what exactly you want to do and what you need the tool for (I do when I see questions like that...). If you get a recommendation after answering such a question, you can shortlist the tool - but you shouldn't just trust it blindly.

What moment of happiness can you expect?
The moment of happiness of having chosen a tool that really suits you.

Don't take the first tool that promises a solution - this is closely related to the previous point and follows on from it. If you have received one or more recommendations, still look online to see if there are any alternatives.

Because maybe the tool is really great, but it's actually too expensive for you.

Or the tool is great, but you don't like the user interface.

Or the tool is exactly what you need, but it is not GDPR compliant and that is important for your use of the tool.
