Very interesting article, but I have a different case. I have a hotel that is advertised in several OTAs (Online Travel Agencies). When a client makes a reservation, they send us all their card details, but we don't know how to charge for the stay until the client arrives and pays us. This is detrimental to us because according to the sales policies we could charge at the same time as the reservation, but we don't have the necessary means.
Do you know what this means would be?
The idea is that if the client already gives us their details, we can use them to charge without the client having to provide their details again or go through any additional process, as is the case with PayPal, where the purchase must be confirmed with the email and password, or like shopping carts, where you must enter the details at the time of check out. In theory, the client already does that when registering all their details in the OTAs and therefore it is up to us to charge the fee.
What would be the appropriate means in Ecuador?

Hi Sara, if you still can't solve this problem, you might find job function or professional person and industry email list it useful to learn a little more about the types of mobile POS that Datafast or Dataexpress have. There is a service that allows you to make payments without having to physically have the credit card. Payclub and the Banco del Pacífico payment button also allow this. Let me know if any of these options are useful to you.

Hello, I am from Venezuela and I want to create a virtual store to sell clothing and accessories. I would also like to make sales abroad, but I don't know what payment method to use that can accept currencies from other countries and how I would access those earnings. I appreciate all the help you can give me. Thank you.
