Another space project on Time's list is Relativity's Space Stargate , a production line of several giant (according to the company, the largest in the world) 3D printers capable of printing a reusable Terran 1 rocket.

Technology is designed to make the world more inclusive. For example, the Synchron Stentrode is a first-of-its-kind motor neuroprosthesis. It is an implantable device that is implanted in the brain and restores or enhances its functions. The main goal of the Synchron Stentrode is to help patients with paralysis regain functional independence.

The Nike GO FlyEase (pictured) is a hands-free shoe that has already been tested by several Paralympic athletes. The inspiration for this model came from Matthew Walzer, a young phone number list man with cerebral palsy, who sent a letter to Nike in the summer of 2012. He said that due to muscle pain, he could only wear sports shoes, but he had difficulty with laces and other fasteners: "At 16, I can get dressed completely, but my parents still have to tie my shoes." The company enlisted Walzer to develop shoes that would be easy for even a person with a disability to put on.

Other inventions on Time's list include OrCam Read (a camera for the visually impaired that speaks text) and the Revolve Air compact wheelchair .
