I want to know the details
Kateřina, you have your project Marketing Challenge , where you advise on marketing strategies, among other things. What does such a marketing strategy look like when organizing a conference? Kateřina: Yes, this project is great because I can help other people with their projects and it brings unexpected successes. I am very happy about that. But about the conference… The strategy is that we try to find speakers who really convey value – not those who only communicate general information or sell themselves during their speech. We then promote the selected speakers on social networks and other channels. We also try to build PR, which my colleague Alena does great. And most importantly, we have great references from the first year and it actually helps us a lot that women are already recommending the conference to each other.
You can also find a fairly wide repertoire of male speakers at the conference. Did panama phone number data you initially think about inviting only women? Kateřina: No, it's about the quality of the content, gender doesn't matter. We actually invite men to the conference itself. But the conference is simply linked to my group Women in Business, so gender is already in the name. And from a purely marketing perspective, it's also great because we have a clear target audience. Alena: It's a very common question when I introduce the conference. Why aren't there men? But we want them there, and for the audience as well. I see it as an added value for both parties. Women will learn something from men even when networking, and conversely, men will learn something from women. They perceive their potential and I believe that a lot of interesting business connections can be created.
What was the response to the first conference, how did the participants react to it? Kateřina: Unbelievable! Alena and I received so many nice and positive responses that I thought: " Yeah! It was worth the hard work." Alena: I have to say that I was really pleasantly surprised. People and customers usually write references somewhere anonymously, but at the first year, participants came to us and thanked us personally for the pleasant atmosphere, we even received a lot of positive responses and feedback that day. Likewise, after a fortnight, I received a few e-mails with thanks. This is exactly the motivation to keep going. That everyone had fun and it had added value for all parties.
