summary
International e-commerce seems to be gradually gaining popularity. I think this survey has given us a clearer picture of which countries shop on their own country's websites and which countries shop online from overseas. We will regularly post the results of this survey on our blog, and continue to research the potential and future of cross-border e-commerce.

The widespread use of cross-border e-commerce will depend on each country's awareness of Internet security and the safety of online payments, so it is not something that Japanese companies can control alone. However, we should take the reports published by these research organizations seriously and use them as a reference for our own company's future investments.
