What is the "Japanese version of DMO" promoted by the Japan Tourism Agency for inbound tourism?

The number of inbound tourists in 2017 was 28.69 million. The Japanese government is aiming for 40 million in 2020, the Olympic year.

The Japan Tourism Agency established a registration system for "Japanese DMOs" in November 2015 as one of the pillars of regional revitalization, which will act as the steering wheel for creating tourist regions.
It has been reported that overseas DMOs have achieved great results in attracting tourists by actively functioning as corporations rooted in the local community. In

●What is the Japanese version of DMO?
