Tochka analysts analyzed the growth of turnover within each industry for 2023 and named two key areas and three segments in which companies earned the most.
Which sectors have become leaders in terms of turnover: in 2023, the volume of working capital increased for businesses in the tourism and online trade sectors.
Travel agencies in Russia increased their turnover by 52.3% due to the fact that the average bill for one trip increased against the backdrop of rising prices for vacations due to various events in geopolitics and the economy.
E-commerce sales grew by 52.2%, driven by the growing popularity of online viber database shopping, increased demand for parallel imports and expanded logistics chains.
Other segments that grew: The “Administrative activities and related services” segment grew by 25.6% year-on-year. It includes companies that provide auxiliary services, such as rent and leasing, and personnel selection. Their turnover increased by 14.8%, because there is more and more demand from new companies, analysts believe.
The Transportation and Storage segment increased its turnover by 17.7%. It includes:
Warehousing and storage. Here the growth was 32.9%: the demand for warehouse space is growing along with the development of marketplaces.
Cargo transportation and logistics. Turnover increased by 18.9%: transportation became more expensive this year and there were more orders.
In the Construction segment, turnover increased by 17.72%. This includes:
Specialized construction work. Turnover increased by 19.3% as more orders were placed for the use of innovative technologies in construction.
Construction of residential and non-residential buildings. Here turnover increased by 18.3%, analysts attribute this to the growth of preferential mortgages, as well as to the increase in housing prices due to the growth of wages for builders.
