You can add custom parameters to your conversion events in GA4. For example, you can add a custom event parameter like “ event_value ” to represent the conversion value associated with a specific event.
These custom parameters allow you to obtain more precise and relevant information about the value of your conversions.
B. Setting up e-commerce events
In GA4, there is no distinction between goals and eCommerce complete mobile numbers list transactions as in Universal Analytics. Instead, all conversions are measured through GA4 events.
When users interact with your website or app, events are triggered that are automatically recorded as conversions. GA4 automatically marks the “purchase” event as a conversion when a transaction occurs.
It is important to note that in GA4, conversion events are based on the “event_name” parameter . It is not possible to base a conversion on a different parameter value.
However, GA4 offers different match types when setting up events or conversions, giving you flexibility to tailor your conversion goals to your specific needs.
