Diffusion of responsibilities

You know the “bystander effect”? It happens when everyone assumes someone else will take the lead on an action item, and it’s more common in teams than you might think. The result? Responsibility becomes diffused, leaving tasks undone and progress stalling.

To promote shared ownership in groups:

Clearly define roles and responsibilities : Make sure everyone understands their individual contribution to the overall goal. Designate single points of contact (SPOC) to clearly assign tasks and responsibilities to the islands mobile numbers list team. This helps avoid ambiguity and the bystander effect.
**Encourage open communication through team meetings or progress reports. Encourage people to hold each other accountable for timely updates and shared responsibility.
Conflicting interests
