Posted: Sat Dec 07, 2024 5:30 am
When I started my business, I was going blindly. To put it bluntly, I had no plan and no strategy. As you can imagine, it wasn't very promising. I had a hard time explaining what I was doing (which is normal, I had no idea). And I won't even mention signing contracts. It was a void. Until the day I had a lightbulb moment! That moment changed my entire business. Finally, my work made sense. Having experienced wandering for several years, I know how tricky it can be to find your positioning .
But I have good news for you: it's accessible to everyone! We are all capable of defining the positioning that suits us . And it is to give you some food for thought that I am writing this article today. With a clear positioning in mind, communicating about your activity will become child's play!
To help you feel more comfortable in your content creation, I invite you to participate in my free challenge: 5 days to be (finally authentic in your content)

How to find your positioning?
For 3 years, I defined myself as a "communications officer for australia whatsapp mobile phone number list positive impact projects". In my head, I was certain that I had a clear and obvious positioning. How wrong I was! This little box that I created for myself meant everything and nothing. I offered all sorts of missions for a very broad target. Result: I didn't really have any clients.
You will certainly find many articles that address this topic on the internet. You will certainly be advised to do many marketing analyses to identify your positioning. I am not saying that it does not work. But having a business aligned with your values cannot start from a competitive analysis. It must come from you.
Know your why
This step was the trigger for everything else. Your why is the key to your success , really. Without it, your business won't have the impact you want. This is the first thing I work on with my coachees .
What do you want to bring to the world?
Here is the first question you need to ask yourself. Without this answer, you will be like Clementine 4 years ago: you will move forward in the dark. And believe me, navigating blindly is no fun. By being aware of why you built your business, you will multiply your impact because your actions will have meaning . For you but also for the people who will support you. And let's not forget that a business cannot move forward alone, you need to have customers.
