How to choose colors? Tools that will help you

Post by sumaiyakhatun22 »

There’s hardly a day that goes by that I don’t have to design something more or less complicated – from Facebook ad graphics to a landing page for a campaign. When I started working on these types of projects, I had a problem that plagues all beginners: how to choose colors that match each other?

Thanks to a few simple tools, I solved it once and for all. In a few clicks I create a palette with which I can sit down to Photoshop without any worries. Here they are. Take them and use them!

In the article you will read about:

ColorZilla
Coolors.co
Adobe Kuler
Color Hunter
Design Seeds
ColorZilla
A small thing, but incredibly useful. A Chrome plugin that lets you download any color from canada rcs data a website in the same way you download a color from a photo or graphic in graphics programs. Just run the tool, hover over the selected element and click. This way, we save the color code, which we can then paste into a program or generator and use for design.

Coolors.co
Once I have the hex value of the color I need, the second place I visit most often is Coolors.co – a free generator where each press of the spacebar creates a new color palette.

We can create palettes from scratch or match them to specific colors. This is how I use it. I paste the hex value of the client's colors and click the padlock (the icon visible on the color rectangle). This locks a given color and after pressing the spacebar, selects the next ones that match it. In this way, I expand the palette of available colors or create their variations.
