The Kommersant Publishing House traces its history back to 1990 and enjoys a reputation as a business media outlet that can be trusted. The holding is currently developing new channels of communication with the audience, including a website and social networks. Kommersant's Telegram channel , unlike the official website, reflects the entire palette of opinions: the news feed is updated lightning fast, and interesting discussions unfold under the posts.
As is well known, behind great success there is always painstaking work, and uk whatsapp list in such a huge holding, monthly tasks are counted in hundreds, if not thousands. Without automation, it would be difficult to understand the large volume of work and control everything. Kommersant chose Megaplan as a platform for digitizing internal work processes, and settled on the boxed version.
Anastasia Lobada, Deputy Director of Information and Digital Platforms at Kommersant, talks about how this has made life easier for media managers.

Information under control
Our company's special feature is a closed software environment. We don't even rent hardware: both the main and backup servers are owned by the publishing house. Many editorial and commercial tasks that we add to Megaplan can safely be called secret. It is important for us to prevent leaks, especially before the project launch. So we localized Megaplan for security purposes: even if some kind of failure occurs, we are calm about the safety of the information.
Work by the rules
Before Megaplan, we used email until one of our colleagues suggested using Megaplan — he had experience using CRM at his previous job. So we quickly connected Megaplan to manage tasks. Over time, we introduced a rule: to record all work on each project in the program. Another strict rule that we adhere to is to indicate the year in the task name. Because, despite the distribution of tasks by projects and folders, it can still be difficult to find the right one in such a huge archive. The volume of data is very large, and indicating the year helps in searching.
Access from anywhere in the world
Megaplan is used by developers — frontend and backend — and also stores databases. The advertising department also uses Megaplan. There is also a division that distributes content, including for social networks. For example, these are designers and the editorial department, which manages complex projects — they all also have access to Megaplan. In total, about a hundred Kommersant employees are connected to the system.
Not all of them work in the office. We started practicing remote work about a year before the pandemic, so we didn’t have to adjust. And if at first after the introduction of Megaplan some employees did not understand why such a program was needed and how to use it, during the general quarantine the questions disappeared by themselves.

We had and still have remote certificates, which provide double security when connecting to the corporate system. They make it possible to use all the work tools that work inside the office from anywhere in the world.
Megaplan has a convenient calendar
I enjoy using the calendar. I especially like the option related to vacations and time off. For some reason, I didn’t discover it right away, but after I did, I made all employees mark vacation dates and planned time off in the calendar. It’s very convenient: you can always see if an employee will be absent from work for some time.
Personally, Megaplan helps me a lot with reminders. I use them constantly, maximizing this functionality. In addition, I track the workload of employees. It is enough to make a couple of clicks to see the current data. This also helps when calculating bonuses: the level of complexity of the tasks that employees are doing is visible.
General information about our employees is also reflected in Megaplan: who reports to whom, what department they work in, what their contact information is. I know for sure that the front-end development department actively uses a to-do list, which is due to the large volume of small tasks that do not require the involvement of specialists from other departments.
