Video: How to Resize an Image on Mac
The process for resizing images on Mac is very simple. First, just double-click on the photo so that it can be viewed in the Preview application , on macOS itself.
Then go toTools, click onAdjust Sizeand then make the changes you want!
But to prevent the image from becoming “stretched”, it is important that the padlock that appears between the width and height (see the video above, at 1:02) is activated. This way, the resizing will be proportional.
Windows
Video: How to Resize Images in Windows
The tip for Windows is to use the Photos application (which is usually already installed on the system). Then, right-click on the image you want to edit and thenOpen with, selectPhotos.
On the top right side of the screen, click on the three dots icon (…), and then in the optionResize. The tool will suggest some options, but you can click onDefine custom dimensionsand edit the image as you prefer.
And for the image to be resized proportionally, the optionMaintain aspect ratiomust be selected.
