Australian company Accentuate offers online presence solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as some larger corporate clients.
“What we’re really looking to do is bring businesses into the online space in a professional manner, so they’re ready to execute the marketing they want and achieve their business goals,” Eden explains.
“We not only make sure the website is appropriate, but also that their social media is consistent, their Google business listing is branded, they use professional email services that aren’t prone to security issues – all the little pieces of the puzzle fit together,” he continues. “What we offer is a package of policies where we put everything in, and we do it well.”
The difficulties that Accentuate had
Before turning to Pipedrive, Accentuate was using spreadsheets to manage prospect and customer data, which meant opportunities were falling through the cracks.
“We were at a stage where we were doing everything manually, so a lot of things were being neglected,” Eden explains. “Being trained in sales, I know what the ideal is, and at that time we were far from that ideal.”
There was also no central system or place to enter data, which caused confusion as information was split between email and spreadsheets.
“We were manually logging tasks into email and a task manager, so you could say we were a bit disorganized.”
All of this was slowing down Accentuate’s sales process and clogging their funnels.
The Pipedrive Solution
An expert in process management, Eden began overseas chinese in uk data researching to find the best CRM for web design companies, one that would ensure the company's sales process was up to par.
“Process management consulting is my thing, so while I love the web and built my first website at age 13, I’m really passionate about talking and consulting about process management,” he says. “When a major change needs to be implemented in a company to improve a process, I usually lead it myself.”
Eden didn’t just look at what Pipedrive offered, she looked at what it could be, and quickly realized that Pipedrive is a CRM that can scale with customer needs.
“I looked at all the other major offerings in the market and you were in the early stages, so obviously you had to evaluate where you were at that point and what your growth trajectory looked like, because in the early stages of a company you never know.”
Cost was also a factor.
“Our industry is very cutthroat, so we try to keep our costs down. The speed at which they are trying to improve the platform is quite appealing to us because we are adapting and changing pretty quickly in terms of updating our processes, optimizing, automating, that kind of thing.”
“Pipedrive had the initial feature set we needed and, based on my testing, was also the easiest and quickest to set up, which was an attractive feature for us.”
Key Features and Integrations of a CRM for a Web Design Company
The Accentuate team was pleased with how quickly it took to get started using Pipedrive, and now they enjoy how quickly they can add data to the tool.
“The biggest benefit was having something that was easy to set up, because that’s so important,” Eden says. “You have notes everywhere, manual checklists, and that leads us to a platform that’s exactly how we want it.”
Eden, who typically manages 50 to 100 deals at a time (not to mention the deals his colleagues manage, which he sometimes has to get involved in), expresses dismay at people who try to keep everything in their heads.
