To get started, you first need to set up an account on the BuddyBoss website

To do this, download the BuddyBoss Platform and BuddyBoss Platform Pro zip files from your account and then upload them to your WordPress website. If you need help, check out our beginner's guide to installing a WordPress plugin .

After activating the tools, you will need to enter your license key and email.

Activate the forum component

The first step is to configure the plugin to meet the needs of your community, especially if you want to set up forums for structured conversations.

BuddyBoss includes several features called “components”. To create a forum, you need to enable the “Forums” component.

So let’s navigate to BuddyBoss ” components in your WordPress dashboard.

The Forum Discussions component should be listed laos telegram data alongside other components like User Profiles, Social Groups, and Activity Feeds. You can scroll down the Component list to find it.

Once you find it, check the box to the left of “Forum Discussions” and click the “Activate” link.


From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to BuddyBoss ” Forums ” New Forum .

This will open the BuddyBoss Forum Builder.

You may notice that this builder is very similar to bbPress – it is!

So fill in the required details like the name and description of the forum, then you can set the rules for the forum like whether it should be public or private and choose the parent or child forum.
