Filter and Sort Keyword Results

Once you have your keywords, it's time to filter them down to create a smaller, more targeted list that works for your business.

Within the "keyword results page," you'll find a search breakdown. At the top, you'll find four options: locations, language, search networks, and date range.

Locations. Country or countries where the keyword is used.
Language. This is the language in which the keywords you're industry email list searching for information are available.
Search networks. These are partner sites that include other search engines and Google properties like YouTube, for example.
Date range. The default value of 12 months is often a good variable for analyzing your keywords.
Based on these categories, you can apply filters to obtain a decent number of keywords. The filters you can add are:
Keyword Text. Here you can filter and choose to have the tool only display keywords that contain a specific word or phrase.
Exclude keywords in my account. Exclude keywords you're already bidding on in Google Ads.
Average monthly searches. Used to filter out keywords with high search volume as well as those with low demand.
Competition. Allows the planner to display keywords with a competition you select between low, medium, and high. It's important to note that the "competition" score only refers to competition in Ads and not how competitive it is for search engine rankings.
