How we have changed: the Digital Society in Spain in 2017 February 7, 2018

Post by sakib60 »

The number of internet users continues to grow in Spain. 84.6% of individuals between the ages of 16 and 74 used the internet in the last three months in 2017, representing a 5% increase over the previous year, reaching 29 million people. Furthermore, of all internet users, 81.5% connect daily , or nearly 24 million. These individuals represent 64% of the population in this age group, 4 percentage points more than in 2016.

These are some of the data from the report " The Digital phone number library ociety in Spain 2017 ," presented this week by the Telefónica Foundation. The document (exhaustive, with numerous figures, sources, and comparisons) presents a complete overview of the evolution of digital society not only in Spain, but also to a large extent in the rest of the world. It also outlines what is to come.

Here are some of the milestones that show how we have changed:

1. Artificial intelligence begins to permeate all sectors
Artificial intelligence and its associated technologies, such as machine learning and deep learning , along with robotics, are spreading across all industrial sectors, particularly in the technology and financial sectors, but also in healthcare and health care . At the same time, they are transforming the media world, making IT and communications technologists the most sought-after employees, replacing marketers and strategists.
