A short competition analysis focused on individual article topics (we focused on the competition's content, keywords and presentation of the competition within the SERP), creating a set of keywords for writing articles, detailed instructions on how to write articles for copywriters, including clear requirements , internal link optimization . However, it did not include: link building (we had to write very high-quality articles that were good enough to be linked to), structured data, AMP, or speed optimization . The blog now ensures a stable number of website visitors. That is why we adjusted the content strategy . While at the beginning of our cooperation we focused mainly on creating new content that would bring visitors to the website, we subsequently shifted our attention to regular maintenance and revision of existing content . In doing so, we focused on improving the rating of individual articles.

Results When we started working together in August 2018 , the blog was getting just under 2,000 visits per month. A year later, the number of monthly visits was around 51,000 (an increase of 2,450%) . Currently, the Belize Mobile Database blog is getting up to 100,000 visits per month. While in the beginning the number of clicks was around 30 per day, now the blog reaches more than 3,000 clicks per day and with around 1,600 keywords it has ranked in the TOP 10 . In 2021, the blog reached over 1,420,000 visitors . This is mainly because our client operates in a highly competitive industry .

At the beginning of the cooperation, we didn't even have any budget for paid advertising or content distribution. In the meantime, articles were shared through social networks and other channels. We only started actively building links in 2022. Finally, we have established a good starting position that currently allows us to drive relevant traffic to product pages via internal links and launch campaigns focused on generating leads and sending newsletters. Summary SEO doesn't have to be complicated . Sometimes it's enough to combine simple SEO techniques and quality content . Considerable attention needs to be paid to preparing a strategy .
