The FY2019 budget "Shopping District Revitalization and Tourism Consumption Creation Project" is a project that supports the efforts of shopping districts and other businesses to effectively capture new demand from outside the local area and outside of everyday demand, leading to the stimulation of consumption.

Project overview:

Eligible projects:
1. Consumption creation projects
In cooperation with local communities, we will support effective initiatives that lead to increased consumption, such as improving the shopping district environment and holding events, which are necessary to effectively capture new demand from outside the region and from outside daily demand, such as inbound tourism and other tourism, under the guidance of experts.

2. Expert Dispatch Project We
will support the dispatch of experts to shopping districts and other businesses that are implementing initiatives to address structural issues such as changes in consumer needs, improve the appeal of shopping districts, and make the initiatives more effective.
