Lamoda has launched a showcase with products from more than 300 brands on Yandex Market. The collaboration will help the retailer increase sales through Yandex's audience, and the marketplace expand its product range and develop its fashion direction, Kommersant writes .
More than 40 thousand products of brands, including Nike, New mint database Balance, Levi's, Tommy Hilfiger and others, have appeared on Yandex Market. The partnership will allow Lamoda to create a full-fledged showcase, while avoiding the costs of marketplace services, believes Anna Lebsak-Kleimans, CEO of Fashion Consulting Group.
What to expect from the companies' cooperation : Lamoda and Yandex Market have not yet officially commented on the contents of the showcase. Experts interviewed by Kommersant had different opinions. Some assume that the retailer will sell off the remains of old collections. Others believe that the showcase will feature a regular collection, since the marginality of stocks is much lower.
This is not the first experiment in cooperation between a retailer and a marketplace. In the fall of 2024, Lamoda began delivering its own orders through Yandex Market pick-up points. A successful experiment could become the basis for launching a showcase on the marketplace, according to Kanzler, the brand's marketing director.
