UpNote is a "typical" note-taking tool that has many similarities to EverNote. I would like to highlight a function that I always missed in EverNote and that UpNote has: You can embed videos from YouTube and Vimeo in notes, which can even be played directly in the note. I find that very, very practical and cool.

What do I like about UpNote?
Upnote is simple but appealing. Synchronization can even be used with a free account. The user interface can be switched to German.
I liked the very fair pricing model for the premium version. The option of 99 cents per month or a one-time payment of 29.99 USD is more than just fair and affordable. Because I was curious to see how the EverNote import would work with PDFs, I opted for the lifetime version. Importing an EverNote notebook with 89 notes with PDFs worked smoothly and even quite quickly (unlike Joplin). Unfortunately, UpNote does not have a full-text search IN the PDF documents. Notes can also be linked to each other relatively easily.
