The initially set territory affects the display of the card when zooming. If the business is focused on a wide coverage, it makes sense to set cities or regions in the settings. If it is some local business like a coffee shop in the area, it makes more sense to indicate a specific point on the map and a coverage radius of no more than 10 kilometers. Showing penetration data an icon to users in another part of the city is simply pointless.
How to choose that very radius:
Assess the location of the customer company and its closest competitors, transport accessibility and the conditions it offers. Set the radius so that it appears on the map at the same time as the closest competitors.
Imagine your ideal user - who they are and how they get to the point. If most visitors travel by public transport, set the radius so as to capture transport interchanges.
Assess your options - availability of delivery or other conditions that can expand the display area.
